North Railway Recruitment: Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: The Northern Railway (Delhi Division), Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways, (Government of India) is seeking Retired and Experienced Officers for Re-engagement as Engineering Staff in the Engineering, Signal and Telecommunication and Electrical Exigencies of Services for GatiShakti Unit (GSU) of Delhi Division. The Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notice has been issued for 11 Vacancies out of the Approved Strength of 18 Staff Members for Re-Engagement as Senior Section Engineer (SSE)/Junior Engineer (JE), Controller of Stores (CoS), and Office Superintendent (OS) in the Engineering, Signal & Telecommunication (S&T), and Electrical Branches.

According to the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the last day for willing and qualified candidates to submit their applications in person is July 14, 2023. Thus, Eligible Candidates with properly completed Applications may register prior to the Critical Application Submission Date of July 14, 2023.

Northern Railway Recruitment 2023: Vacant Positions

The Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice has been issued with 11 Vacancies to be filled for a variety of positions:

Post Designation: Four positions with eleven vacancies in three engineering branches

A) Section of Engineering:

I) Senior Section Engineer (SSE)/Junior Engineer (JE): 5 Positions Available

II) Stores Controller and Office Superintendent

B) Section on Engineering:

I) Senior Section Engineer (SSE)/Junior Engineer (JE): Three Positions Available

II) Stores Controller and Office Superintendent

C) Electrical Department:

I) Senior Section Engineer (SSE)/Junior Engineer (JE): Three Positions Available

II) Stores Controller and Office Superintendent

Division of Delhi, Place of Assignment

Appointment Conditions: Post-Selection of the Candidate on the Post, Re-Employment is Valid for One Year from the Date of Engagement. However, the Engagement of Retired Staff will likely be extended from time to time in accordance with Administrative Requirements.

Monthly Compensation for the Northern Railway Recruitment of 2023:

In accordance with the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the following monthly salary will be paid to successful applicants:

Monthly Compensation: Consolidated Lump-sum Payment Per Month shall remain Equal to Last Pay Pus DA drawn Minus Pension (Basic Plus DA) at the time of Retirement, Fixed Monthly Remuneration Plus Full Pension shall not exceed Last Pay drawn at the time of Retirement. In accordance with Railway Board Letter No. E(NG)-II/2007/RC-4/CORE/I dated 24.10.2019 and NRPS No. 18.11.2019.

Maximum Age for Northern Railway Employment Opportunities in 2023:

According to the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Job Announcement, the Maximum Age Limit for Eligible Applicants/Person should be as of the Application Deadline.

Age Requirement: Retired Railway Supervisors cannot be older than 64 12 years, to ensure that at least six months are available for RE-Employment.

The re-engaged retirees should not have been included in the Safety Related Retirement Scheme/Liberalized Active. Retirement Scheme for Staff with Guaranteed Employment (LARSGESS).

The Selection Procedure for the Notified Posts will include Viva-voce/Personal Interaction, as described in the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Job Advertisement. On the basis of the Eligibility Criteria, including Serving Experience, etc., the individuals to be invited in for Viva-Voice will be shortlisted. The Candidates would be narrowed down based on the Eligibility Requirements. For Personal Interviews/ Interactions, only the Selected Candidates will be contacted.

Appointment Conditions: Post-Selection for the Position, the Candidate’s Initial Appointment with Service Duration shall remain for 1 Year. Nonetheless, the Contractual Duration is Extendable Not Beyond/Until 65 Years of Service Obtained.

Procedure for Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Applications:

In accordance with the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Interested, Eligible Candidates must submit an application using the prescribed application form.

The Eligible and Willing Ex-Personnel may submit a Prescribed Application with the Following Documents:

Application in Prescribed Proforma Format.

According to the Northern Railway Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, Completed Applications from Eligible Persons must be carefully typewritten on A4-sized paper according to the Sample Proforma provided herewith.

The Applicant must include the Self-Attested Photocopies of the Documents along with the Completed and Signed Application:

i) Educational and Technical Qualifications; ii) Pay Pension Order (PPO); iii) Service Certificate (SC) issued by the Previous Government Employer at the time of Retirement/Relieving; and iv) Pension Identity Card (PIC).
