The big focus of the series is wireless sound. Both speakers support wireless Dolby Atmos, which is meant to give a more open and room filling sound. Samsung has also added AI powered sound tools.
One of them is AI Dynamic Bass Control, which adjusts bass automatically so the low sound feels fuller but does not become messy or distorted. The speakers can also be managed through the SmartThings app. From there, users can change sound settings, play music and control more than one speaker at the same time.

The Music Studio 7 is the stronger model in the new range. It uses a 3.1.1 channel system and has left, centre, right and top firing speakers. Samsung Audio Lab has also worked on its sound pattern tuning. Even with all that, the Music Studio 7 can still be used as a standalone wireless speaker. It does not need a TV to work.

The Music Studio 5 is the smaller option. It is made for people who want something compact but still want good sound. It comes with a woofer, dual tweeters and a waveguide tuned by Samsung Audio Lab. It also supports WiFi casting, Bluetooth with Samsung Seamless Codec, voice controls and access to popular music streaming services.
Samsung is also using Q Symphony with these speakers. This lets the Music Studio speakers work together with a compatible Samsung TV or soundbar instead of replacing them. The company says users can connect up to five compatible audio devices with a supported TV, which can make the sound feel wider and more immersive. That gives the new Music Studio series a nice mix of style, easy use and stronger home audio.
