Schools to remain shut as admin demands buses for PM Modi’s Ranchi visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch three national and two state level schemes in Ranchi on September 12.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Jharkahnd on Thursday to launch a slew of schemes and projects just before the assembly elections are declared in the state.

People from all across the state will join the event tomorrow in Ranchi. In order to provide smooth transition to the people, the administration has asked the private schools from from the state to prove their buses for easy movement.

For the same, an order has been issued for arranging nearly 700 buses, which includes more than 100 buses from schools in Ranchi only.

Due to the nonavailability of transportation for the students, Many schools in the city have decided to remain shut for the day while few which which have not closed, have asked parents to  make arrangements for their kids for the day.

The Prime Minister will launch three national and two state level schemes here on September 12. The first scheme is Kisan Mandhan Yojna, under which farmers will get Rs 3,000 pension; the second is laying the foundation stone for 462 Eklavya schools exclusively for quality education; the third is a pension scheme for small shopkeepers.
