Within just three days of its launch, the trailer of Aamir Khan, Zaira Wasim starrer, Secret Superstar, has earned over 7.5 million views on YouTube. It has become the top trending video on the site.
The trailer tells the story of a young Muslim girl, Insu, who aspires to become a singer but faces restrictions from her conservative family. She happens to meet a musician, which unfolds into an exciting and adventurous journey.
The film has been produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar will hit the theatres around Diwali on 20 October 2017.
