AAP candidate Abdul Rehman won by 4,253 votes and as expected exit polls are turning right for Arvind Kejriwal lead party AAP. In the 2015 Assembly Elections, the seat was won by a candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party and in 2020, Seelampur’s seat is again won by AAP.
Abdul Rehman, the AAP contestant received the votes of 20,618 and defeated Kaushal Kumar Mishra of BJP by 4,253 votes.
One of the constituencies is Seelampur and it falls under North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. While seven candidates contested for the seat in 2015, this year the number is six.
