Whether you like it or not, Ambani family’s heiress Isha Ambani and scion of the Piramal group, Anand Piramal’s wedding was the shaadi of the season. The wedding of the century which took place over multiple venues and dates and hosted high-profile international guests like Beyonce, Hillary Clinton and the who’s who of Bollywood which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and many others. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it was time for sibling Akash Ambani, who is all set to marry fiancé Shloka Mehta. They got engaged back in July 2018 and will tie the knot in yet another opulent ceremony this year.
In fact, the pre-wedding festivities have already begun and we are glued to social media feeds to catch glimpses of our fave stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Hold on, just them but also Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Chainsmokers who performed at the St Moriz bash of Akash and Shloka in Switzerland and boy, it was a smokeshow! Wow, that must be something no? Aamir Khan was also amongst the many stars who danced away at the do. As per a local Swiss website, about 850 guests were invited for the winter wonderland-themed event, which includes Bollywood celebrities Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, and Karisma Kapoor.
