Shahid Kapoor Birthday special: These pics prove that the actor is ageing backwards

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Friday served a notice to Shahid Kapoor after its insecticide team found mosquito breeding inside Shahid’s swimming pool that was apparently lying unused. A notice has been served to the actor under section 382 of the BMC Act that attracts a fine of upto Rs 10,000.

Interestingly, Vidya Balan, who lives 2 floors above Shahid has been diagnosed with dengue on Friday and has since been put under observation at home. Another of Shahid’s neighbour in his Praneta apartments was also prosecuted under the same section for aedes breeding.

“Our team was carrying out routine inspection in the houses and gardens in the area. When it reached the actor’s Juhu Tara road residence, it was denied entry. So our team took the police’s help and entered the premises. Upon inspection of his private swimming pool, large number of Aedes Aegypti mosquito breeding spots were found,” said a senior municipal official to NDTV.

Shahid’s spokesperson said that the actor was concerned with the findings, especially since he has a new born around. “Shahid is concerned about the findings of BMC in his building and the locality, especially with a new born baby present in the house. He is also thankful to BMC for the check-up that they conducted in the locality which is vulnerable during the rainy season and due to its proximity to the beach”

Last year BMC had served notices to the Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and singer Amit Kishore Ganguli for not taking steps to prevent mosquito breeding on their premises.
