Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday said BJP President Amit Shah is exaggerating that his party would win more than 120 seats in the 2019 assembly elections.

“I think that is very exaggerating,” Patnaik told reporters here.

Odisha, which will face general and assembly elections in 2019, has 147 seats in the Assembly.

Earlier in the day, Shah said that the saffron party’s win in Odisha would be even bigger than the Tripura.

“The verdict in Odisha is going to be bigger than Tripura,” said the BJP President while addressing a ‘Mahasamavesh’ in Bolangir on Thursday.

“I had not spoken about Mission 120 yesterday and Naveen babu planted news in media as to why I was silent. But I had not spoken about it because am sure we will win more seats here, much bigger than the mandate we got in Tripura recently,” said Shah.
