When Shashi Tharoor tweets or says something in English, netizens look up new words in the dictionaries at home.

If you are not living under a rock, most of you must have heard of or read tweets of the ever so eloquent Congress MP, Shashi Tharoor. His oratory skills have made him a staple at many lit fests and lecture circuits around the world.

The usage of English words in his sentences always sets him apart from every Grammar Nazi around.
For the CAT aspirants and English Language Learners, this can be a lesson in vocabulary, provided that you understand the context, the meaning of the words and how can you frame sentences.

Shashi Tharoor as usual yet again has done it with words. He does not only help us to learn new things. But also frames proper context, time and space with his words.

Shashi Tharoor in his stir of unconventional words does it yet again by using mellifluous in his statement. He used this word in one of his tweets today remarking about the Prime Ministers speech spoken from the chambers of Lok Sabha.

He states, “ Don’t know whether to be flattered or amused to hear my name four times in the Prime Minister’s mellifluous speech. But I was not amused that he continued to tilt at the windmills of history & reduce a solemn Constitutional occasion into an occasion for a petty political speech.”
