Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-manager Shruti Modi has reportedly told agencies that Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty used to handle the financial accounts and dealings of the late actor.
She told the CBI that she was not involved in giving any medication to Sushant. She added that she just used to receive the parcels at Sushant’s home and hand them over.
Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation has summoned Rhea’s father Indrajit Chakraborty and mother, Sandhya Chakraborty, today in connection with its investigation into the shocking death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Shruti Modi has also arrived at the DRDO guest house in suburban Kalina where the visiting CBI team is stationed.
Yesterday, the CBI questioned 28-year-old actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty for over eight hours in connection with the case. After her questioning, she left the DRDO guest house for her residence in suburban Santacruz in the evening but could not enter the building because of the presence of a large number of media persons.
Instead of stepping out of the car, Rhea directly reached the Santacruz police station to file a complaint. Nearly half-a-dozen police officials then reached her apartments and helped her entering the building.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Samuel Miranda and domestic help Keshav were also questioned by the CBI yesterday.
