Singer Rekha Bhardwaj hits out at music reality shows, says why there is so much drama?

Bollywood singer Rekha Bhardwaj who is known for songs like ‘Kabira’ and “Hamari Atariya” has recently shown disappointment over the concept of music reality shows.

The singer in a series of tweet expressed concerns over the talented kids who participate in music reality shows. She said that the kids are asked to compete and ask for votes, look glamorous instead of guiding these kids to treat music as Ibaadat/prayer. She even asked why there is so much drama in music reality shows?

Here are the tweets:

I had no ambition to be a professional singer: Rekha Bhardwaj

Not only this, the singer went on saying that she really pray to God that she doesn’t become part of such mediocre shows in the future. She also said in the name of music its just noise and every song has to make you dance.

Although she didn’t mention any particular music reality show but the Twitter thread seemed to show how angry the singer is with the concept of music reality shows these days.
