Bollywood Singer Sonu Nigam announced on Wednesday that he would be quitting Twitter soon in a series of tweets. The singer took side of another singer Abhijeet and actor Paresh Rawal and claimed that the platform had no balance and was “one-sided” with hatred everywhere.
The singer bids adieu to his 6.5 million followers. Taking a jibe at haters he also wrote, “You can wake up someone who’s sleeping, but cannot wake up one who’s pretending to sleep when he’s awake”.
Nigam, who claims to have fair approach, feels the media is divided and Twitter is crammed with some nationalists, some just cold blooded “pseudos”.
