Sony has not directly taken the camera’s name yet, but the teaser strongly hints at the next model in the famous A7R lineup. Camera Upgrades
One of the biggest rumored upgrades is a brand new 67MP fully stacked Exmor RS sensor. According to industry leaks, this sensor may be much faster than the one inside the older A7R V. Faster sensor speed can help reduce rolling shutter problems when someone shoots moving cars, sports or fast panning video clips. Many photographers were asking for this improvement for years.
Another major leak says the camera could support up to 30fps continuous RAW shooting. That means the camera may capture 30 full-quality pictures every second. Earlier, high-resolution cameras were usually slower, but the A7R VI may now compete with sports-focused flagship cameras too.
