Day after release, Student of the year 2 leaked by TamilRockers!

Karan Johar’s second installment of popular Student of the year is back and the most awaited movie released today. The story is based on a small town boy Rohan Sehgal (Tiger Shroff) who is madly in love with his childhood sweetheart Mridula (Tara Sutaria). He follows her to the city’s top college but this new journey brings a lot of changes in his life along with friends, enemies, competition, and heartbreak.

The class of 2019 at Dehradun’s best college Saint Teresa is all about pretty girls, dapper dudes with rippling muscles, hot wheels and a colorful campus buzzing with extra-curricular activities.  Tiger Shroff is at its best when he takes admission on a sports quota.

Things take a sharp turn when Tiger’s many talents become a problem for the current poster boy of the college Manav Mehra (Aditya Seal) and his sister (Ananya Panday).  The whole drama is what causes love, ladies and competitiveness.

Mainly the story revolves around these four characters and how they fall in and out of love. But the best part that remains is that there is no heartbreak that shattered them. All the character are rock solid until the end.

On the technical front, the camera shows his physical wreck. The leading ladies of the film movements are captured beautifully especially when it comes to Tiger Shroff. His heroic skills are captured with great attention whether he is dancing, running on the track, playing Kabbadi or doing his infamous stunts, the camera captures all with small detailing.  His sharp looks capture the screen well and even always seen glammed up in the best designer dresses. While Tara’s performance seemed underwhelming due to the strength of his character, but Nanaya character carries well in the film, thanks to the convincing back story which worked in her favor.

While a lot more comedy and humor were expected from the film, the best laugh scenes came from Tiger’s gang. YouTuber Harsh Beniwal leaves a lasting impression with his natural flair of humor he has.

More of the scenes are out of the classroom and the drama contains outside that. More focus is laid on sports, dance, and romance. The chemistry between Tiger and the debutants are the highlight.

The film narrative remains light and focus. Over the visual appeal of the movie is good. ‘A good one time watch’ this weekend.
