Sound! Euphonium Season 3: The official YouTube channel of Kyoto Animation (the animation studio responsible for this series) unveiled the character image for Oumae Kumiko, the protagonist of Sound! Euphonium season 3, on Saturday, February 3, 2024. The publication date of the title was also disclosed to be April 7, 2024.
Audience: Sound! Euphonium is an anime musical that was produced in response to Takeda Ayano and Asada Nikki’s novel series of the same name. This series concluded its first season in July 2015, followed by its second season in December 2016.
A film adaptation of the same name, titled Our Promise: A Brand New Day, was released after the second season. It premiered in April 2019 in Japan.

Audience: Sound! The third season of Euphonium, consisting of thirteen episodes, is scheduled to premiere on NHK Educational. A character illustration for Oumae Kumiko and the series’ premiere date were both disclosed recently.
The character visual showcased various segments of Kumiko from prior seasons. It was disclosed after the segment that the forthcoming season would premiere on April 17, 2024. The character visual indicates that Kurosawa Tomoyo will continue to voice Kumiko as in previous seasons.
The Noise! Season three of Euphonium will be entitled Sound! Our Promise on the Euphonium: An Unknown Day. It will illuminate the musical voyage of Kumiko and her companions as they enter their third year of high school.

Audience: Sound! The musical-drama anime series Euphonium tells the tale of high school student Oumae Kumiko, who transfers to Kitauji High School intending to erase her past.
The friends she made at her new school compelled her to join the music ensemble as she began her new life. Despite being relegated to performing the euphonium, Kumiko is now presented with an opportunity to distinguish herself and demonstrate her talents to an audience.
Under the guidance of her newly appointed disciplined instructor, Noboru Taki, and her former classmate, Reina Kousaka, with whom she had a strained personal history, each day is a competition to improve her musical abilities.
Sound! Season three of Euphonium details Kumiko’s music band’s transition from its second to third year of study, during which time she assumes the role of music club president. Before this, the group narrowly missed qualifying for the nationals; they will attempt to qualify once more. This time, newly admitted club members will be with them.
On March 16 and 17, 2024, the inaugural episodes of Sound! Euphonium season 3 will be previewed in Kyoto and Tokyo, respectively.
