SSC CHSL final result 2017: The result of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2017 final exam will be declared today, December 20 by the Staff Selection Commission on the official website of SSC.
The candidates who had appeared for the examination can check the results by logging the website of SSC i.e., ssc.nic.in.
Around 48,404 candidates qualified in the CHSL exam held in two phases from March 4 to March 26, 2018, and July 8, 2018. The candidates will be selected for a total of 5,874 vacancies of various departments with 3,241 in general category, 795 in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 408 in ST and 1430 under the OBC category.
Steps to check the SSC CHSL final results 2017
- Step 1: Go to the official website- ssc.nic.in
- Step 2: Click on the result link ‘SSC CHSL 2017’
- Step 3: A pdf file will appear on the screen
- Step 4: Download it, and take a print out of the result PDF file for further use
Candidates will be paid a monthly emolument of Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 in addition to grade pay of Rs 1,900, for the post of LDC and JSA.
For PA, SA – Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2400. Those candidates hired for the post of DEO will get a remuneration of Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200 per month and grade pay of Rs 2,400.
For the recruitment of LDC, DEO, postal and sorting assistant and court clerk personnel, the SSC CHSL examination is being conducted across the country. The selection process comprises of three stages: Tier-I (computer-based objective test), Tier-II (descriptive paper) and Tier-III (skill/ typing test).
