Suman Kumari, belonging to the Hindu community, has been appointed for the post of civil judge, making her the first woman belonging to minority the group to be selected for the post, according to a media report.
Her father who is an eye specialist said, “Suman has opted for a challenging profession, but I am sure she will go places through hard work and honesty.”

Kumari, cleared her LLB examination from Hyderabad and completed her masters in law from Karachi’s Szabist University.
Earlier an Advocate, Kumari will will serve in Qambar-Shahdadkot, her native district, reported Dawn.
In 2005, Rana Bhagwandas became the first judge from the Hindu community.
