On Friday, former chief minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) president Jitan Ram Manjhi said that the law needs a review since a large number of innocent people are facing its consequences and serving jail terms.

Talking exclusively to IANS, Manjhi said that there were no jobs in the state when Bihar was ruled by Lalu Prasad and later his wife Rabri Devi, but now industries have started to come up ever since Nitish Kumar took over as the Chief Minister of Bihar.
Grand Alliance leaders held a meeting here on Friday. However, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress were conspicuously absent from the meeting, indicating that all is not well in the grand alliance.
The statement comes a day RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was quoted by a news agency saying, “I don’t know exactly where Tejashwi is. Maybe he has gone to watch the World Cup. I am not sure about it”
Bihar emerged as one of the largest states where a rainbow alliance of opposition parties was taking on the incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party.
