Taj Mahal: Only 30,000 guests to be permitted in every day

In a meeting on Thursday, it was decided that the number of tourists visiting the Taj Mahal will be capped at 30,000 per day. The decision comes after a minor stampede that happened at one of the entry gates of the monument last Thursday.

The quantity of  tourist  going to the world well known Taj Mahal may soon be limited as the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) plans to restrict it to 30,000 guests for each day, for just 3 hours

As indicated by the ASI, 35,000 to 40,000 individuals visit the landmark consistently, however, the numbers shoot up to 60,000-70,000 amid occasions and ends of the week, offering to ascend to rush like circumstances, where the tourists spend hours inside the monument-complex making things worse for the crowd.

ASI intends to complete this activity along the lines of railroads ticket booking framework. The offer of tickets will be halted when the number reaches 30,000 ordinaries.

Apart from controlling the footfall and time-duration per visitor, the ASI has also suggested separate entry tickets into the crypt, which has replicas of Shah Jahan and  Mumtaz Mahal’s grave.

The Archeological Survey of India has chosen to constrain the section of guests in the Taj Mahal as an extensive number of visitors can demonstrate hurtful for the establishments of the landmark, as per the specialists.
