Tata Curvv EV SeriesX Launch: Tata Motors has made the Curvv.ev a bit more reachable for buyers by launching the new SeriesX range in India. The new line starts at ₹16.99 lakh ex-showroom, and the full range goes up to ₹19.49 lakh ex-showroom. The latest launch brings three trims in all: Accomplished X 55, Empowered X 55, and Empowered X 55 Dark.
This move mainly helps the 55 kWh version become cheaper than before. Earlier, the long-range 55 kWh Curvv EV started at ₹19.25 lakh, but now the new SeriesX entry trim is available at ₹16.99 lakh.

The base Accomplished X 55 is the most affordable one in the new set. The next step is the Empowered X 55, and the top one is the Empowered X 55 Dark. The prices sit at ₹16.99 lakh, ₹19.19 lakh, and ₹19.49 lakh ex-showroom.
Tata has kept the SeriesX range focused on the 55 kWh battery pack. Reports also say the company has removed the older 45 kWh option from this part of the lineup. That means this new version is aimed more at people who want a longer-range EV without jumping too far up the price ladder.

The Curvv EV SeriesX is not just about a new price tag. The Accomplished X gets a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch displays, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera with blind-spot view monitor, front ventilated seats, leatherette upholstery, and rear sunshades.

Range
The better-equipped Empowered X adds more comfort and tech. It gets a 6-way powered driver’s seat, two-step reclining rear seats, a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 9-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer, Level 2 ADAS with 20 functions, 18-inch aero-optimised wheels, and V2V plus V2L support.
Charging
Under the skin, the 55 kWh battery pack is paired with a 167 hp electric motor producing 215 Nm. Tata claims an ARAI-certified range of 502 km, while the company’s real-world C75 figure is around 400 km. Using a DC fast charger, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in 40 minutes. With a 7.2 kW AC charger, a full 10% to 100% charge takes 7.6 hours.
