The updated electric micro-SUV comes with improved styling, new technology features, faster charging capability and a higher driving range, making it one of the most attractive entry-level EV options in the country.
Tata Punch EV 2026 Debuts With Lifetime Battery Warranty
For the first owner, Tata Motors is offering a lifetime warranty (up to 15 years) with unlimited kilometres on the larger 40 kWh battery pack. This is one of the most comprehensive battery assurance programs currently available in the affordable EV segment.
Tata Punch EV Facelift Price in India
The Punch EV facelift is launched at an introductory ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and goes up to around ₹12.59 lakh for the top trim.

- 30 kWh Smart – ₹9.69 lakh
- 30 kWh Smart+ – ₹10.29 lakh
- 40 kWh Smart+ – ₹10.89 lakh
- 40 kWh Adventure – ₹11.59 lakh
- 40 kWh Empowered – ₹12.29 lakh
- 40 kWh Empowered+ – ₹12.59 lakh
The company also offers a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership option, reducing upfront cost to about ₹6.49 lakh plus battery subscription charges.

Battery Options and Driving Range
The complete electricity model provides two different battery options to customers.
30 kWh Battery
The ARAI-certified range reaches approximately 365 kilometers.
40 kWh Battery
The ARAI-certified range reaches a maximum distance of 468 kilometers.
The actual distance that can be traveled is approximately 355 kilometers.
Charging Speed and Performance
The new Punch EV supports fast charging improvements:
- The DC fast charger enables users to reach 80% battery power from 20% in approximately 26 minutes.
- The system can deliver 135 kilometers of driving range through a 15-minute charging session.

The system provides multiple charging solutions which include 7.2 kW wall box and home charger options.
The electric motor now achieves improved performance which generates 127 bhp of power and enables 0–100 km/h acceleration in under 9 seconds.
Design and Interior Updates
The facelift introduces refreshed styling inspired by Tata’s newer EV design language. The major improvements which the system needs to make include the following:
- The system implements a new front fascia together with LED lights.
- The system has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
- The system has a digital driver display.
- The system has ventilated front seats.
- The system provides a360-degree camera.
- The system supports wireless connectivity.
