Bhartiya Janta Party, who is exploring to make his presence in upcoming Telangana assembly polls has fielded Naini Narottham Reddy against caretaker Irrigation Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) senior leader T Harish Rao at Siddipet assembly. The Congress-led grand alliance has allotted the seat to Telangana Jana Shakthi party’s candidate Bhavani Reddy.

According to sources, BJP is giving a hard contest to TRS at the Siddipet, where since 2004 T Harish Rao never lost. Naini holds a massive support in Siddipet constituency especially among youths and BJP’s grassroots level workers are highly boosted ahead of elections.

“This time, Harish Rao is busy in campaigning for TRS Supremo K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) at Gajwel assembly and spending less time at Siddipet,” Naini Narottham Reddy told media. Telangana polls are scheduled for December 7 and results will be declared on December 11.
