Filmmaker and famous television producer Ekta Kapoor have been blessed with a baby boy. She has opted for surrogacy just like her brother Actor Tushar Kapoor. Ekta welcomed her baby on January 27. According to a newspapers report the baby is healthy & fine and will be coming home soon. She has not shared this news officially on social media yet.
On the work front, Ekta is currently busy on her popular daily Kasauti Zindagi ki 2, a recreation of the first part and also running popular shows like Naagin season 3, Dil Hi Toh Hai and Qayamat Ki Raat. Besides tv shows, she has quite a few projects lined up in Bollywood too this year including Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl and Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra’s Jabariya Jodi.
