Veteran Telugu actor Chalapathi Rao triggered controversy saying “women are fit only to be good partners in bed.” Speaking at an event of Telugu film Rarandoi Veduka Chudham that stars prominent actors Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet, Rao said women are fit only to be good partners in bed.
His derogatory statements came as he was asked to respond to a line from the trailer where Naga Chaitanya can be heard saying, “Girls are injurious to peace of mind.”
“Ammayilu hanikaram kadu kani.. pakkalo ki paniki vastharu (Women are only fit for sleeping with men),” he had said in response.
