Jharkhand TET Applications: Jharkhand Academic Council, Ranchi has released the notification for JTET 2026. The notice is now available in PDF form on the official exam portal. This exam is for people who want to become teachers in Jharkhand schools. The online form process will start from April 21, 2026, and candidates will be able to apply through jacexamportal.in.
The last date to fill the form is May 21, 2026. The whole process will be done online only, so candidates will have to complete registration, form filling, and fee payment on the website itself.

Eligibility
For students who are planning to apply, the first thing to check is eligibility. Not everyone can fill the form. The exam is for primary and upper primary teacher level, so the education rules are linked to teacher training courses.
The notification says candidates with qualifications like Class 12 followed by D.El.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed, 2-year Diploma in Education including Special Education, graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, graduation with D.El.Ed, B.Ed, graduation or post graduation with B.Ed, Shiksha Shastri, 4-year B.A.Ed or B.Sc.Ed, B.Ed in Special Education, and graduation with 1-year B.Ed in Special Education can apply, depending on the paper and required conditions.
Fee Details and Age Rule
The application fee will depend on the category of the candidate. For General, OBC, and EWS applicants, the fee is ₹1,300. For SC and ST candidates, the fee is ₹700. Candidates from Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups will have to pay ₹500. Reports based on the released notification also say the payment has to be made online. This means candidates should keep their payment details ready before starting the form.

There is also an age rule for the exam. The minimum age is 21 years as on August 1, 2026. Along with this, the notice says an extra 9 years of relaxation has been given in the upper age limit this time.
