Thama First Look Posters Released: Maddock Films Teaser Tomorrow, Diwali 2025 Release Confirmed

Thama First Look Posters Released:Bollywood’s really turning up the heat with this one. Maddock Films finally dropped the first look for Thama and, let me tell you, the hype is kind of wild right now. You know how these guys nailed that whole horror-comedy vibe with Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya? Well, forget the goofy ghosts this time. They’re going full-on dark romance. Whatever it is, it’s set to hit theaters Diwali 2025, so just mark that in already.

Thama First Look Posters Released

They dropped character posters for all four leads and, honestly, fans are losing it.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s rocking this gritty, mysterious look as Alok. He is sescribed as “Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed” (the last hope of humanity), basically means he’s gonna be brooding a lot and carrying the weight of the world.

Then there’s Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka. She is itroduced as “Roshni ki ek hi paheli kiran” (the only mysterious ray of light). The poster’s got her draped in green, looking fierce as hell. I bet she’s the one everyone’s gonna root for or maybe she’s hiding something, who knows.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is Yakshasan. He is described as “Andhere ka badshah” (the king of darkness). The guy looks like he’s about to eat someone’s soul. I mean, if anyone can sell evil with just a stare, it’s Nawaz, right? He’s apparently gonna stick around for the sequels too, so get used to him.

Paresh Rawal as Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal. He is tagged as the man who “finds tragedy in comedy”. Like, expect some dark jokes and probably a couple of scenes that make you cry when you least want to.

Plot

Now, plot-wise, this isn’t your usual Maddock horror-comedy. Thama’s doubling down on romance but keeping things bloody and supernatural. They’re mixing modern Delhi with the whole ancient Vijayanagara Empire vibe, so get ready for a bit of a time-hopping, mythological rollercoaster. It’s got “epic saga” written all over it or at least, that’s what the PR wants us to think.

F1 The Movie OTT Release: Release Date and Where To Watch?

The teaser’s coming out August 19 at 11:11 AM and fans are already foaming at the mouth. Diwali’s gonna be a war at the box office, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Thama ends up leading the charge.

Nawaz’s vampire baddie isn’t just a one-and-done. He’ll be haunting us in future films, and the rest of the cast might get sequels too. Basically, Maddock’s building their own spooky academy.

Thama looks like it might actually pull off the supernatural love story thing without being totally cringe. Big stars, big ideas, and enough mythology to make your head spin. The first looks are killer, and if the teaser delivers, this could be THE Bollywood event of the year. Just don’t blame me if you see Ayushmann brooding under a full moon in every meme until 2026.
