Some political parties are favouring the trailer, for instance, Bhartiya Janata Party has tweeted the movie trailer on their official handle by saying, “Riveting tale of how a family held the country to ransom for 10 long years. On the other hand, Congress and some other political parties and leaders are opposing the film by calling it a ‘political stunt’, ‘cheap politics’ against Congress etc following the Lok Sabha elections.

The movie will release months before the Lok Sabha elections.

Ojha in his petition complained that Anupam Kher and Akshay Khanna have damaged the image of former PM Dr. Singh. “It hurt me and many others,” he said.
