The coveted Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2019 : Exam pattern explained

One of the most coveted schools of the country, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is set to conduct its entrance test on April 6, 2019. The selection test will be conducted in multiple languages and the application process has started for class 6 at navodaya.gov.in.

The application process will take place on the web portal only. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test will be of a duration of two hours. The exam will comprise of 80 questions, across three sections of Language Test, Mental Ability Test and Arithmetic Test.

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their score in the test after which their documents will be verified.

The Mental Ability Test section will comprise of 40 questions which would be done under 60 minutes. The section will be carrying 50 marks.

The Arithmetic Test will have 20 questions where the students would have 25 marks up for grab. The students would be given 30 minutes to complete this section.

The Language Test would have 20 questions, carrying 25 marks. 30 minutes would be provided for this section.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. An OMR sheet would be provided to the students where they can mark the correct answer with either a blue or a black ballpoint pen.

Registration begins – November 1, 2018
Last date to register for the entrance – November 30, 2018
Admit cards will release – March 2019
Date and of the entrance test – 11:15 am April 6 2019
