Sparks flew between the soon-to-be-married couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone on the sets of their first film Goliyon Ki Raas Leela-Ram Leela. A crew member on the film told Huffington Post how love blossomed between the couple on the sets of the film. It began with a passionate unscripted kiss during the shoot of the song Ang Laga De in Film City in 2012. The couple’s lips were locked even after the director said cut. A crew member told the publication that they knew that the couple was dating but the passionate kiss sealed the deal.

“It was new love- euphoric and maddening,” the crew member told Huffington Post. The couple was open about their relationship on the sets. “They’d call each other baby, eat together, and disappear into their vanity vans when not shooting,” the crew member said further adding that they thought that their romance would fizzle out once the film gets over. The couple worked with each other again in Bajirao Mastani which was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film became a blockbuster; a crew member of the film told the publication, “When I saw them during Bajirao Mastani, that’s when I knew, this is something that’s going to last.” Another source said that even during group dinners the couple would have eyes only for each other, “It’s like nothing else matters. And they talk about everything non-stop, like, say, a married couple would”
The couple flew across continents to be with each other when their shooting schedules kept them away from each other for prolonged periods.
Another crew member told the publication that during Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer would be present on the sets even after his shots are done, “He’s always giving her cues even when he doesn’t have to. It almost feels that for him, her career is more important than his. He was one of the first few people to tell her that she needs to go to Hollywood. He’s starry-eyed when she’s around,” the person said.
The couple will get married in two separate ceremonies tomorrow and the day after at Lake Como in Italy after being in a relationship for 6 years. They will be having receptions in Mumbai and Bangalore.
