Episode 11 Recap
The previous episode of The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses opened with Kaede Komura discussing the impending Cultural Festival with his mother. Staying late at school, he and Mie spent quality time together, assisting Asuka and Someya with the final preparations for the event.
Mie then received a text message from his mother instructing her to return home. However, she seized Komura’s shoes by accident instead of her own. Komura followed Mie and visited her home out of concern that Mie’s mother might reprimand her for staying out late. Then, he covered for Mie and returned her school-lost shoes.
During the cultural festival, Kaede Komura observed and read excerpts from Mie’s diary. Subsequently, he viewed Mie’s exquisite exhibition for the cultural festival. He was also humiliated to see Mie admiring a decoration he had created.
Soon thereafter, he discovered Mie sitting outside and decided to join her. She told Komura how much she was enjoying her time with him recently. Then, Komura inquired if he could see her visage, to which she consented. Mie remarked, as the conversation progressed, that Komura was like a “dad” to her. The episode concluded with the main character contemplating Mie’s words.
