The Odyssey India Release Date: Christopher Nolan has shown the first trailer for his new film, The Odyssey. It is his big screen version of Homer’s old Greek story. The film follows Odysseus, played by Matt Damon, as he makes a long and hard journey after the Trojan War. He is trying to get back to his wife Penelope, played by Anne Hathaway, and his son Telemachus, played by Tom Holland. The official site confirms the film is coming to cinemas on July 17, 2026, and says it was shot entirely with IMAX film cameras.

The film’s cinematography is by Hoyte van Hoytema, and the music is by Ludwig Göransson. The movie is set for a theatrical release on July 17, 2026.
It is also the fourth time Nolan and Damon are working together after The Departed (2006), Interstellar (2014), and Oppenheimer (2023).
