Instagram’s most liked photo after three consecutive years: Very often the internet is absolutely successful at impressing the Nitizens every freaking time with its amazing trending posts.

It is indeed filled with a lot of posts that often leave us amazed, amused and also shocked sometimes.

We won’t keep an example from very far.

Such a perfect inclusion is the tweet by Guinness World Records (GWR) that represents the same category.

Yes you read it absolutely right!

We are talking all about egg image that has been ruling the online space for three consecutive years. The post now has left many intrigued, there is a possibility it will have the same effect on you too.

Not only this, but in the year 2019 this picture of an egg broke Kylie Jenner’s world record of having the most ‘liked’ picture on the photo-sharing app.

You can have a look at the tweet-

Well the most surprising part is that to everyone’s surprise, it still remains the same, holding the top-spot on Instagram! Guinness World Records (GWR) took to its official Twitter handle to share the news and wrote that the egg picture “is STILL the most liked picture on Instagram with 55.5 million likes.”

What is even more amazing is that the Insta page on which the egg image was shared has only one post – the picture of the egg. Called world_record_egg, the page doesn’t have any following but is followed by over 4.8 million netizens.

Responding to the new achievement on Instagram Stories, the anonymous account for the Egg Gang had posted: “This is madness. What a time to be alive. Thank you so much for all of your support and messages. I’m gonna try and get back to as many of you as possible. But for now I need to sleep. It doesn’t end here though, we’re only just getting started. #EggGang Mic drop.”

Most Twitter users reacted enthusiastically to the announcement with a user @trixatory commenting, “I don’t know if I feel sad about 55.5 million liking an egg image or happy because the photo of an egg broke the previous record.”
