Tiger 3 Box Office Collection Day 1
After Ali Abbas Zafar’s 2019 historical drama Bharat (₹42.30 crore) and Sooraj Barjatya’s 2015 family drama Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (₹40.35 crore), both of which debuted on the occasion of Diwali, Tiger 3’s opening day box office gross of ₹40 crore making it Salman’s third biggest opener.
After Bharat and Vijay Krishna Acharya’s 2018 period action adventure film Thugs of Hindostan (₹52.25 crore), which was also produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, Tiger 3 would end up being Katrina’s third biggest opening.
About the Movie
YRF distribution president Rohan Malhotra gave an explanation of the production house’s controversial choice to release Tiger 3 on Diwali day, which falls on a Sunday, in an interview with India Today. He declared, “If we had gone the traditional route, we would have released the movie on Republic Day, when we could be confident that a certain amount of people would see it. However, we arrived a day early at YRF and concentrated on the film’s lifetime business. It operated flawlessly. We obtained absurd figures. It originated from the straightforward conviction that we had produced a strong movie starring Shah Rukh Khan and Adi, and that all of us at YRF had faith in his celebrity.
The third entry in Salman and Katrina’s spy thriller series is titled Tiger 3. It’s also the newest entry into the YRF Spy Universe, which already has characters like Pathaan and War in it. The director of Tiger 3 is Maneesh Sharma.
