Tollywood actors and directors have come forward to help rebuild Andhra Pradesh after cyclone Titli disaster. The actors and directors have made generous donations to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister relief fund and are providing relief aid to the affected people in Andhra. Hashtags including #IStandWithAP and #SaveSrikakulam are trending on Twitter.

On Sunday, actor Vijay Deverakonda donated Rs 5 lakh to the CM relief fund and posted a screenshot of his contribution, urging more people to come forward and donate to the state. Following this, actor Jr NTR donated Rs 15 lakh and his brother Kalyan Ram donated Rs 5 lakh to the CM relief fund.

Andhra Pradesh is struggling to rebuild itself and restore normalcy following the cyclone Titli, which hit the Andhra-Odisha coast last week. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking Rs 1,200 crore assistance from the Centre as interim relief for rehabilitation of the affected areas. They have also asked the public for help.

The loss from the natural calamity has been pegged at Rs 2400 crore. The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, has reportedly approached the central government seeking an aid of Rs 1200 crore for the rehabilitation.
