Tony Awards 2026 Live Streaming: The 2026 Tony Awards are set for Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The main show will run from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET, and it will be the 79th Annual Tony Awards. The Tony Awards site says the ceremony will be broadcast live to both coasts on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ in the U.S.
How to Watch and Stream?
Before the main show starts, there is also The Tony Awards: Act One. This live pre-show will be hosted by Laura Benanti and Tituss Burgess. It begins at 6:35 p.m. ET and will stream for free on Pluto TV. The pre-show will also hand out the first round of Tony Awards, so it is not just a warm-up. It is part of the main action.
For the main ceremony, P!NK will host the show. Viewers can watch it live on CBS and stream it on Paramount+. According to the Tony Awards site, Premium Paramount+ subscribers can watch live and also get next-day on-demand viewing. Essential-tier subscribers can watch on-demand the next day. People who use live TV streaming services like Hulu + Live TV and YouTube TV can also access the CBS broadcast.
Who is Performing?
The opening number is planned to be a very big one. It is choreographed by Sarah O’Gleby and written by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul and Mark Sonnenblick. The Tony Awards says it will feature over 170 Broadway performers. Rachel Zegler will give a tribute to A Chorus Line for its 50th anniversary. Leslie Odom Jr. will sing “Without You” from Rent for the in memoriam part, which also marks the show’s 30th anniversary.
There will also be a special Chicago performance for its 30th anniversary. The list tied to that tribute includes Queen Latifah, P!NK, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alex Newell, Adrienne Warren, Julianne Hough, Whitney Leavitt and Dylan Mulvaney. On top of that, the original Broadway cast of The Book of Mormon will come together for its 15th anniversary.
The stage companies of all seven Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical nominees will also perform. Those shows are The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, Titanique, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Ragtime, and Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show.

Special Awards and Honors
The 2026 Special Tony Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will go to André Bishop, Jules Fisher, and James Lapine. Mary-Mitchell Campbell will receive the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award. 1/52 Project, Jake Bell, Kenn Lubin, and Loren Plotkin will get the Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre. Freddie Hendricks is the winner of the Excellence in Theatre Education Award, and American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin will receive the Regional Theatre Tony Award.
