The Tripura Congress has announced plans to establish a specialized legal team aimed at safeguarding the rights of individuals facing potential threats. This initiative, revealed by party president Asish Kumar Saha, aligns with a resolution passed during the national legal conclave in New Delhi, hosted by the AICC’s Department of Law and Human Rights.

According to Saha, the AICC has directed state units to enlist legal professionals to form these teams, which will offer assistance in case of reported rights violations. The Tripura Congress will soon implement this directive, providing a vital service to those in need of legal support.

While in New Delhi, Saha also met with Congress general secretary Saptagiri Ulaka to discuss the current political landscape in Tripura and pressing organizational matters. Ulaka assured Saha of his forthcoming visit to the state after the current parliamentary session.
