Indonesian Man Discovers His Wife Is Actually a Man: An Indonesian man, 26, was left stunned when his newly-wed bride turned out to be a man.

AK, who used the alias AK, was conned into dating this man who wanted to scam him for money, according to the South China Morning Post.

People were shocked to learn that the couple had dated in person for a year before getting married in April.

In 2023, AK met Adinda Kanza, 26, on social media. He is from Naringgul, a region on Java.

Kanza wore traditional Muslim attire covering her entire face when she met AK, according to SCMP reports.

The Indonesian man claimed that she was a devout Muslim, while AK noted that she wore a niqab as a sign of her devotion to Islam.

When Kanza mentioned she had no family to attend the wedding, the couple decided to have a modest ceremony at AK’s home on April 12.

The couple did not officially register their marriage certificate because she brought 5 grams of gold as dowry.

After 12 days of marriage, the Indonesian man noticed that his bride was hesitant to communicate with his family.

Also, Kanza wore veiled attire at home. Kanza avoided intimate contact with AK frequently for reasons ranging from her menstrual cycle to feeling unwell.

Upon investigating more about her, the 26-year-old man found her family address and discovered that she was not an orphan as she claimed.

Kanza was a woman, identified as ESH, who has been cross-dressing since 2020.
