The US based giant e-commerce website, Amazon has received severe backlash for selling doormats printed with the spiritual symbol of ‘Om’ and shots with Hindu God printed on it. The shopping site has been accused of demeaning the Hindu sentiments.
#BoycottAmazon became the top trend of the day and users also shared pictures of other products on the website with pictures of Hindu deities and symbols printed on them. Not only doormats, but t-shirts, rugs, and undergarments with Hindu gods were also spotted on the website.
After noticing that Amazon is selling such products that are hurting the Hindu sentiments, social media users criticised the shopping website and urged people to boycott Amazon go for Flipkart this Diwali. Twitterati also urged people to support local vendors and buy products from them.

Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post which is a proud minion of the “Swamp”. 70 million of us can sure remind him who has the power! It’s not Big Tech! We can put very a nice dent in their holiday sales! Whenever possible shop another retailer!— Mike James (@PolicyofTruth9) November 10, 2020
Is this for real?
Has it become a trend to hurt the Hindu sentiments?
We say, we become intolerant.
Others kill each other for similar things, then their sentiments are hurt?!!!
