UP Board Result 2020: The UP Board Class 10th and Class 12th exam results are likely to be announced by the end of June month. As per the UP Board officials, 82.66 per cent of answer sheets of UP Board exam 2020 have already been evaluated and the remaining assessment work is expected to be done by the end of this month.
Board officials further notified that UP Board secretary Nina Srivastava’s tenure was set to end on June 30, and so efforts are being made to announce the results ahead of the date.
The declaration of result by June 30 will also make sure the commencement of the next academic session in July.
Srivastava retired on March 31 but the state government granted her an extension of three months so that the UP Board answer sheet evaluation and declaration of the results can be completed.
UP Board 2020 high school and intermediate exam started on February 16 and ended on March 3 and March 6 respectively.
Earlier, the board decided to announce the High School and Intermediate results on April 24. As per the schedule, the Board has around six weeks time to complete the evaluation of answer sheets and finalising the results.
Finalisation of results usually need around a month’s time however, due to coronavirus lockdown, evaluation work had to be stalled two days after it started on March 16.
If everything goes well with the original plan, then evaluation work had to be completed by March 26.
Therefore, now over 82% of answer sheets have already been evaluated and results are expected to be announced by June 30.
