A US man is suing his parents for destroying his porn collection worth a whopping $29,000 (Rs 20 lakh). The 40-year-old plaintiff last week filed a lawsuit in a Michigan court, where he moved to live with his parents in 2016 after a divorce.
After a “domestic situation” made him leave his parents house in August 2017, a few months later, his parents drove to his house in Indiana to give their son his belongings that were left at their home. Apparently, the package was missing 12 boxes of pornographic films and magazines.
“If you had a problem with my belongings, you should have stated that at the time and I would have gone elsewhere. Instead you choose to keep quiet and behave vindictively,” he said.
According to the lawsuit, his father said he destroyed them for Charlie’s good. “Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional health, his father said. “I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.”
The man is seeking triple financial damages of roughly $87,000 (INR 60.22 lacs)
