A BJP MLA has demanded the removal of his own state government’s cabinet minister in a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Loni MLA Nand Kishor Gurjar showed his demur to another MLA Om Prakash Rajbhar’ comments on a question regarding corruption among private secretaries. According to Nand Kishore, Rajbhar laughed off while responding to the question, “which is absolutely wrong” and that through this “Rajbhar has tried to cloud the image” over the situation.

Nand Kishore Gurjar defeated the Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate Madan Bhaiya and Bahujan Samaj Party’s Zakir Ali in the 2017 UP legislative elections.

Om Prakash Rajbhar represents the Zahoorabad constituency of Uttar Pradesh and is a member of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) which is a part of the NDA alliance in the state. He is also a cabinet minister of the Department of Backward Classes Welfare and the Department of Disabled People development.
