New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday announced the division of Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha constituencies between UP East and UP West. According to the release Priyanka Gandhi gets the responsibility of 41 seats, while Jyotiraditya Scindia has been entrusted with 39 seats.

After on Wednesday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra assumed her Office of Congress General Secretary, in what marked as her first visit to the state after joining politics few days before, on Monday the AICC General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh East arrived in the state capital of Lucknow for a four-day visit. Along with Priyanka, Congress president Rahul Gandhi and the general secretary in charge of western Uttar Pradesh, Jyotiraditya Scindia was also been present.
