It’s that time of the year- the time of celebrating the day of love i.e. Valentine’s Day. The Valentine’s Day as we know also called Saint Valentine’s Day is celebrated every year on February 14. Valentine’s Day is known to be the day of celebration of romance and romantic love all around the world. Valentine’s Day is preceded also by the Valentine week.

The seven-day period before the onset of Valentine’s Day is time to meet, woo, court, please and propose your loved ones. The Valentine’s week starts with the Rose Day on February 7th followed by Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day and Kiss Day.

Valentine’s Week 2020 Schedule :

Rose Day: 7 February 2020 – Friday

The first day of Valentine’s Week is celebrated as the Rose Day. On this day, people offer roses to their loved ones as a symbol of their affection. while red roses traditionally symbolize romance, yellow roses are given to close friends. If you’re more than ‘just friends’ and less than a lover, you can present a pink rose to your special friend. That’s the protocol people follow on Rose Day.

Propose Day: 8 February 2020 – Saturday

After love expressing to your crush is done on Rose Day, Propose Day gives you the opportunity to tell them the same. The second day of Valentine’s Week is also known as the day when people express their feelings of love for their crush.

Chocolate Day: 9 February 2020 – Sunday

The third day of the week is also known as Chocolate Day and it gives a reason to all of us to keep all our worries aside and indulge in those yummy chocolates.

Teddy Day: 10 February 2020 – Monday

Valentine’s Week in its fourth day is known as the Teddy Day. Show some love to those who mean the world to you by gifting them a cuddly teddy bear. Those cute teddies are the best to bring a smile on anyone’s face, especially on a gloomy day or when nothing seems to be going the right way,

Promise Day: 11 February 2020 – Tuesday

The most meaningful and significant day of Valentine’s Week will be the Promise Day which falls on the fifth day of the week. This day is meant for you to make promises to your loved ones for a lasting relationship and also convince them that you’ll keep your promises in the best way ever.

Hug Day: 12 February 2020 – Wednesday

The sixth day of the week will be the famous Hug Day. Sometimes, the best way to express the emotions in which words can’t simply do is by giving a warm hug to your near and dear ones.

Kiss Day: 13 February 2020 – Thursday

Kiss Day is just before the ‘ultimate celebration of love’ that is the valentine’s day. As it is that the entire week is all about love and affection and what better way to show it than by giving a kiss to your loved ones?

Valentines Day: 14 February 2020 – Friday

Finally, the day of love arrives! Valentine’s Day is celebrated across the globe on February 14 in memory of a 3rd-century Roman saint, Saint Valentine, who’s associated with courtly love.
