‘Very Dense Fog’ Expected in Delhi NCR: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Thursday that the national capital and nearby places will have “very dense fog” for the next five days. The weather service also warned of thick fog in Haryana and Chandigarh in the mornings and evenings until December 31. The fog cover may make it hard to see, which could affect train, air, and road traffic that day.

In a warning, the weather service also told workers to use fog lights and travelers to keep up with airline, train, and state transportation plans. On Thursday morning, it was foggy in Delhi and other NCR cities like Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad. At least 134 planes and 22 trains were late because of the thick fog.
