In a good news for actor Vidya Balan’s fans, her upcoming film, Tumhari Sulu, which was earlier scheduled to release on 1 December will now release a week earlier on 24 November. Although the trailer of the film has not been released as yet, the teaser itself looks quite intriguing and promising.
In Tumhari Sulu, Vidya plays a radio jockey. This is the second time we will see her as an RJ on the big screen after Lage Raho Munnabhai.
For this film, Vidya took some lessons from RJ Malishka, who also stars in the film.
“Vidya and I are back in each other’s lives. I was delighted to receive a call from Atul (Kasbekar) and Tanuj (Garg) to be a part of this beautiful fun film. I hope for a lifetime of brushes with cinema because I am a performer”, said Malishka, on working with Vidya.
Vidya was last seen in Begum Jaan, which was released in April this year. However, the film was not much appreciated by the critics and masses alike. But with Tumhari Sulu, Vidya is all set to get back in the game.
