Indian skipper and top-ranked batsman, Virat Kohli faced embarrassment following goof-up on his congratulatory message to Indian women’s cricket team skipper Mithali Raj on his Facebook post. The incident took place on Thursday.
Virat Kohli joined fellow cricketers to congratulate Mithali Raj, who became first woman cricketer to score 6000 ODI runs, during a match against Australia in the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. Mithali Raj (34) created a record by surpassing former England skipper Charlotte Edwards’ record of 5992 ODI runs and becoming highest run-getter in the women’s cricket.

Kohli posted a congratulatory message on his Facebook account to appreciate Raj’s achievement but the cricketer uploaded India cricketer Punam Raut’s image by mistake. This led him getting trolled on social media.
