Virat Kohli England Tour: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are getting ready for their final tour of England. The two famous Indian cricketers, who recently said goodbye to Test cricket, are all set to return to England in 2026 for a white-ball series. Even though they are not part of the ongoing Test series between India and England, fans are excited to see them one last time on English soil next year. The BCCI has made some new changes in the team’s plans as they prepare for the 2027 ODI World Cup, and this upcoming England tour is a big part of it.
India will play five T20 matches from July 1 to July 11, 2026. After that, the team will play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) between July 14 and July 19. The matches will happen in big cities like Birmingham, Cardiff, and London.
Rishabh Pant’s Injury Adds to India’s Woes Against England
This will be one of the last few times fans will get to see Kohli and Rohit together in an overseas ODI series before the 2027 World Cup, which will be held in South Africa. Before that big tournament, India is also going to play a three match ODI series in Australia this October. In total, India will play 24 ODIs before heading to the World Cup.

Women’s Cricket
The Indian women’s team will also tour England in 2026, starting with three ODIs on May 28 in Chelmsford, May 30 in Bristol, and June 2 in Taunton. After that, they’ll play a one-off historic Test match at Lord’s, one of the world’s most iconic stadiums.
England’s summer is packed with cricket action. Ben Stokes will lead the men’s Test team against New Zealand and Pakistan in two series, while Harry Brook’s white-ball squad will face India and Sri Lanka in ODIs and T20s.
According to Hindustan times, ECB Chief Executive Officer Richard Gould said, “We’re really excited to unveil what promises to be a spectacular summer of international cricket in 2026. With world class opposition visiting iconic venues across the country, fans will have the chance to witness the very best of the men’s and women’s game.”

He also spoke about the importance of the women’s cricket season and added, “The highlight of the summer will undoubtedly be the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, hosted here in England for the first time since 2009. It’s a huge moment for the women’s game, for Nat Sciver-Brunt and her team, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of players and fans.”
Gould said “And just after that, we’re thrilled that Lord’s will also host an England Women’s Test match for the first time, marking a really special period of time for the women’s game,” he said.
