Vivek Oberoi has been making headlines these days but for all the wrong reasons. Recently the actor sparked controversy for himself by re-tweeting a meme surfacing on Twitter that highlighted her relationship between Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai.
Since then the actor is facing backlash and criticism not only from the people but also from his Bollywood counterparts. Now in a recent development, the actor is reportedly receiving death threats. There were intelligence inputs about threats to the actor.
Reportedly the actor was threatened by Naxalites. As a result, the security around him had to be increased especially on Thursday during a special screening of PM Modi biopic.
However, the actor was provided with police protection as he was given two personal security officers for his safety on Wednesday.
As per the officials, a police vehicle has also been parked outside his residence.
The actor will be seen in PM Modi Biopic essaying the role of Narendra Modi that releases tomorrow.
