Do you ever feel like to be on the cover of a magazine? Well netizens have started a new trend on social media and we are loving it. As there is a whole new Vogue challenge to take part in and not just Vogue you can make an edit of yourself of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

The recent Vogue Cover Challenge first started out on TikTok and is now being done on Twitter as well. The challenge is essentially creating a video or picture of you looking like you’re on the cover of Vogue. And the pictures are a whole vibe.

After the Vogue challenge, netizens started rolling in their Harper Bazaar’s edit and those pictures are none less than the original covers.

Some people are doing the challenge as a way to show what representation could look like on magazine covers, others are doing it for purely aesthetic images.

In response to Vogue dedicating its July 2020 issue to the millions of key workers across the UK, social media users are taking turns themselves to appear as cover stars.

July’s three cover stars were train driver Narguis Horsford, NHS midwife Rachel Millar, and supermarket assistant Anisa Omar.

They were captured by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth in the middle of their shifts.

Vogue was praised for their choice of cover stars, and photographer Mr Hawkesworth revealed how he took the now-iconic photos.

U.S. Harper’s Bazaar has appointed Samira Nasr as its new Editor in Chief. Nasr is the Hearst-owned publication’s first black editor in the magazine’s 153-year history.

Nasr comes from Vanity Fair where she held the role of Executive Fashion Director and will be overseeing the style monthly’s print and digital operation.

Nasr steps into the role as Glenda Bailey exits after nearly two decaded in the role. She previously worked for Hearst as the Fashion Director of U.S. Elle magazine, a position she held for five years.
