Recently, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, earlier this week took a ‘non-political’ interview of PM Narendra Modi for news agency ANI on which, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has hit out at PM saying that Modi brought in an actor to interview him at his residence after television anchors failed to meet his expectations.
On Friday, at a public meeting, Owaisi said, “Because TV anchors were not acting well, Modi said I will bring in a better actor. He brought in a better actor.”
AIMIM chief also slammed Akshay Kumar by advising that the actor be made an anchor on NaMo TV. Owaisi said, “And what question does the actor asks: Aap aam kaat kar khate ho ya choos kar khate hain? Yeh koi sawaal hai? Arre deewane tereko aam khana nahin aata aur puch raha hai kaat ke khate hain ya choos ke khate hain. Aam mila toh khana padta hai usko. Isko ab NaMo TV ka anchor bana do. Yeh koi Prime Minister hai! Kya baat hai.”
The Hyderabad MP slammed PM Modi on unemployment and farmers suicide.
During the public meeting, Owaisi asked the crowd, “Modi had promised two crore jobs but have anyone of you got the job? He (Modi) called the actor to his home, and got himself interviewed in the lush green gardens, with peacocks singing and cooing in the background.”
“In the interview he claims that he doesn’t sleep for more than four hours in a day. If that was the case, why are farmers committing suicide? Why were 50 kg of explosives found in Pulwama? How come two crore youths are still unemployed?,” the AIMIM leader added.
